June 2011 Update
I have been very busy since returning from Mooloolaba in May 2010, working hard to recoup the costs of racing Wishbone across the Tasman. I was priviledged to be invited to talk about my adventure at quite a few sports clubs including Richmond Yacht Club, the 2010 CANANZ (Cruising and Navigation Association of New Zealand) annual dinner and the Reactor Yachting Association prize giving (where Wishbone and I were awarded the Gold Medal for the longest cruise in a Reactor, with no challengers!!).
Before my feet had touched the ground, in September 2010 Neil and I got engaged and then there was a wedding to organise! This left little time for racing Wishbine, but Phil and I did have another go at the White Island race, wearing compulsory sea sickness patches. Unfortunately we had long periods of no wind and had to retire after a few days of drifting, to get back to Auckland for work commitments.
In March this year Neil and I got married, and we are now planning to build a house on his waterfront section.

We just have to confirm the time but will advise soon.
We know she will return to Westhaven Marina - J Pier no.24 which is near Sitting Ducks cafe so a great viewing spot - so watch this space
Just had a phone call from Trish to say they arrived in Opua at 11:35 and are waiting to clear customs.
Geoff will leave the boat here and Trish will take her time and cruise the last 100 or so miles to Auckland. There is a bit of a shindig arranged to welcome her home - exact date and time to follow.
The Reactor Association has an annual award for the most miles travelled in any one season. I expect the record Trish has set will stand for quite a few years to come. Well done Trish and Wishbone - welcome home.
