NZ woman Trish Lewis to race solo in smallest yacht across Tasman
For the first time in 35 years a New Zealand woman is sailing solo across the notorious Tasman. Aucklander Trish Lewis is one of only two women in the 2010 Fitzroy Yachts Solo Tasman Challenge and is spending up to 20 days alone at sea. Trish is sailing her 25 foot Reactor, designed by New Zealander Paul Whiting when just a 16 year old. Wishbone is the smallest boat in the race. continued
